Love you too.
Helen my darling, if it helps, I'm a week and a half in and already like 'OH MY GOD GET ME OUT OF HERE WHY DIDN'T I GO TO CARLISLE COLLEGE TO DO MEDIA STUDIES?'.

Welcome back Igg!
Looks like it's your third year and from what I've heard in Canada, it's where they really crack down on you. But you'll be fine, I mean, you're a smart girl!
Just remember...
GO DO THE READINGS RIGHT NOW OR YOU'LL FAIL LIFE.
But in all seriousness, I wish you the best of luck!

Dude, no, it's my first year.
I be 18.
It's only going to get harder and harder...and I'm going to have to start thinking for myself. Which i don't do.

Thinking for yourself? In the first year of Uni? Both first and second year solely exist to extract your money and waste your time.

Well I didn't mean in the near future, though they seem keen on independent though *already*
It is basically just a £3000 library card, though.

haha the last 2 years are just as bad! trust me! Its all research papers and reading books that you really, in all honestly, dont give 2 farts about.
or atleast thats the life of an undergraduate history major lol.
oh how I loathed that 20pg research paper...
& now in culinry school...I got 1 semester of knock around classes. Amusing, but really dont serve much purpose other than to tell u what a knife is and how to use it. I go to labs next semester. now THAT might be amusing...me in a bake shop lab...god help us all. they school might burn down.

Oh.
Well, than, get ready for a major change!
I treated Uni in my first year as high school and well, that was a big mistake!
So don't dwiddle dwaddle and you'll be fine! Do the readings, study hard for the exams and you should do fine

Well I'm not quite that dumb. I literally did as close as possible to nothing in my last 2 years of Secondary school (and still nearly had a work/stress-related breakdown because I am LAME) so I was hardly expecting it to be the same. I just thought I could cope with working hard, and I'm not sure I can..

Igg, I always miss you.

You can do it!
Seriously, though, do you need more ramen? I could send more if you're out. I'd hate for you to have a shortage at a time like this. Just say the word and there will be another extraordinarily huge box shipped your way. ^.^

Aw, bless you. I don't really have cooking facilities here, actually. I have a kettle and a microwave, so I suppose I could make ramen (I have plenty!) if I tried really hard, though I'd have to get a BOWl and some CUTLERY.
2nd week over. Still feeling rough and m,ore exhausted than ever. *sigh* Obviously I've not yet had enough time to work out if this course is for me, but they're working us like dogs. No laptop yet either.
