I'm sure there will be more this week, but maybe not until Friday, though so we can celebrate Valentine's with our significant others (though my hubby works nights, so for us, it will be Valentine's Afternoon) I'm just glad it's not tonight. I've got so much work to do (Yea! money)

Maybe no one else has this yet, but when I went to the Space Station I got a new battledome challenger, one of the guards from the last level. I suck at battling but Im pretty sure iys part of the plot. If you dont get him by going to the Space Station just check at the battledome for Commander Garoo.

Wasn't Commander Garroo in mission 6 of Defenders of Neopia though?

Yeah maybe, but why would I only get him now? Hmmmm, if no one else is getting him then you're prob right. Then my question is: Why haven't we started battling?

I've already had Commander Garoo for awhile and apparently I've already fought him once.... I beat him already. I just can't remember when I got him as a battledome challenger.

Something interesting (and completely unrelated).
Notice that the blumaroo guards all have mirrored faceplates so they're pretty interchangable (ie, if there was a blumaroo in the resistance a uniform-change would be relatively easy).

Dr Sloth obviously hasn't read the "If I was an Evil Overlord" list (http://www.eviloverlord.com/lists/overlord.html) - he's made the following mistakes:

1. My Legions of Terror will have helmets with clear plexiglass visors, not face-concealing ones.
2. My ventilation ducts will be too small to crawl through.
3. I will dress in bright and cheery colors, and so throw my enemies into confusion.

Just for fun, can you see any other mistakes he's made?

You have Commander Garoo as a challenger, you get him randomly at the Space Station. A lot of people are getting the RE now because they are refresh a lot because of the plot.



Everyone gets the plot opponents at the same time - the battledome shuts down all other opponents and only the plot challengers are available.

There is nothing in the plot yet to warrant a battle. We had a little scuffle with Ylana and the guards but we escaped them with ease. I am sure the battle will be on a much grander scale.

One simple explanation: A Mysterious Valentines Card

Long version being: the Gift shop is stocking things that it normally only does the week before V-day, including the "A Mysterious Valentines Card"
Since this item is rather hot and high in demand, people who do not normally restock are bashing the servers right now, trying to get a hold of them. I don't blame TNT for not wanting to add battling on top of that. (Of course, I completely forgot they were stocking until today, and I usually make a killer profit off them.)
If there's going to be a battle soon, it probably won't start until the weekend news (IOW, Friday afternoon). At least, that's my guess. This will mean that the V-day stuff is no longer in stock and thus the massive extra load on the servers will be gone.

Of course, I could be wrong.
