Hi PPTers!!!

I joined the forums in 2005, but I apparently didn't post enough and I was told that my account was inactive when I tried to sign in. I have come here for plot advice for over 3 years now, and I kept trying to recreate my account or to sign in, but I was told respectively either that my account was already in existence or that it was inactive and thus I couldn't sign in. While lurking on the boards for the current RoDS plot, I noticed the post recommending lurkers to actually sign up and join PPT. Once again I tried to sign up or sign in, but I wasn't allowed. This time, however, I noticed the link to resend the activation email. I filled out my information and waited. After an hour or so, I hadn't received anything, so I tried again. Still, I received no activation email, and so I was afraid that once again I was unable to become a PPT member. For some reason though, I just didn't want to give up this time. So I waited a few days and then tried again. This time, it worked! I got my activation email, followed the link, and now here I am! I really love these forums and I have for years now. I'm so glad to be able to finally join you all!

Hey wintersoul! Welcome to the PPT forums! I would guess that a good 80% of our members started off as lurkers, myself included. I started lurking around the time of the Mystery Island plot, looking for help. I later joined the year before the Lost Desert Plot, but didn't become active until the LDP started. I hope you enjoy spending time here and actually posting. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Hiya wintersoul! Welcome to PPT!

Lurking is fun for while but eventually you get the feeling of wanting to add your own opinion to a topic that interests you and thus you join and you get to know the members of the forum. I speak from experience as I joined PPT in 2002 after lurking for about a week or two when I saw a topic that interested me.
