I wouldn't wait with bated breath for decent prizes, nor for prizes anytime soon. Sure, there was some offputting, difficult stuff in this, bu it wasn't LDP offputting. I won't be expecting a Ring of the Lost, but I'll be hoping for something more than the Altador prizes.

While we wait, let's all go to the lobby, to make ourselves a bet

I think that plot ended in October and the prizes came out in mid/late January. So I'm going to guess that we shouldn't expect anything until February.

Although I'm not sure what's taking so long, given that the scores have apparantly been calculated already.

I'm pretty sure the plot ended mid-end November. We thought it was going to end on Halloween, but it didn't.

Maybe that plot did end in November. I wasn't too involved at that point, so my memory's a bit fuzzy on the whole LDP. I could have sworn it closed less than a month after I joined, though....

Edit: Searching the archives shows me that it was going on well into November, so I was wrong.

They probably still have to determine what kind of prizes to give out, and if they are quite balanced in relation to each other. I think the more people get high scores, the lower the prize will become..

While that makes complete sense, I would rather get a lot of great prizes than another round of fifty to sixty 'handful of sand' wasted points. :D

Well, they have scoring up on the plot page:

http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hwp/stats.phtml

So you can at least see how you did. I don't know if those are trophies that will show up with your other trophies, though.

They've had scoring up for a few weeks, though.

Maybe tonight....

I've been saying that every day for the last few weeks. Ugh,
how long does it take for them to verify the scores? You'd think the most time consuming part of tallying the scores would be over, so it wouldn't take long for tnt to be able to release the scores....

How long has it been since the plot ended?

I'm not surprised, to be honest. Of course, I've only been around since the LDP, so my knowledge of plot prize waits is limited, but this seems normal to me.

Now, if we hit MARCH and still haven't seen our prizes, then I'll be peeved.

LDP was started 9 days before Tale of Woe exactly one year earlier and prizes were released on January 30, so I would't be surprised if prizes were released either tonight or atleast within a week.

I'v been on neopets for 70 months (dam almost 6 years...i need to get a life) have have been through 8 major plots and have to say that this is a normal wait time. They have like millions of players to go through and tabulate points. Just because they assigned everything a point value and have a computer to determine who did what doesn't mean that their job is over. However i'm hoping within the next week or so...
