Good, should have cost him 5 million. :-p

It cost me about 15k. I think it was a fair price for my 150th Avvie! :D

I personally think its brilliant move by neopets. Its amazing how many people will just throw away NP's to get a avatar(or even if there wasnt one). This gets money out of circluation which combats inflation. Keep up the good work.

Yuppers, ironic, ain't it? :lol:

Personally, even though I detest them, I prefer game avatars over random or refreshable types. At least with game ones, no matter how tough, everyone has the same chance as anyone else to get it.

I followed a neoboard tip to just tab off the lever button and hold down enter. 20k later I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. 28k later I had some friends try it. We watched our np swirl away down the drain of doom. I'm not sure how much I spent because I would run out and take 5-20k out and flush it away, lol.

I did get the av when I was holding down enter...so if you're desperate, have the np, and don't want to click forever...it does work. But you have to stop and check your av count once in awhile so you don't spend 50k more than it takes to get it ;)

Much harder for those who want the SCREENIE of getting the avatar MORE than the avatar....

But you don't need the actual event to get a screenie of it, just take the html for any av event and sub. the picture and text, then take a screenie of that.

Anyhow, I'm glad I got it...except for the fact that I'm 100K+ down! Still, cheaper than the 500k+ I've spent on stingy old Enda with no result...
