To tell you the truth, this comes as no suprise and it doesn't really worry me in the slightest. Even TNT reserves the right to use anything submitted on Neopets in whatever way they choose (my assumption has always been that this includes messages through neomail and on the various boards). Such is life - if people don't like it, they should just stop using the service.

Eh. Like Dawn said, it's not as though they're going to go digging through your chats. AOL couldn't care less about your latest crush.

My take on it is that they'll use it if necessary for things such as crimes, eg, if someone confessed over AIM, and someone reported it.
