I always do these the hard way to begin with (i.e. Excel) ... then I usually realize that there is a "simple" one line approach that gives the answer.

I just checked my excel answer with my calculation answer. They agreed ... which is a good sign.

Good luck! Hopefully my advice from earlier helps a few people.
