Could the spell number be a star co-ordinate i.e like the only single star at the end of the necklace???

Perhaps just a thought....

I'm really stuck i tried the 4/5/6 and add together but it just made a huger gap

I have a question. I completed the last constellation and clicked on the fire the faerie is holding to get a close-up photo of her. How does this mean that we need to find another book?

Click on the dots.

Click on the button underneath, 'continue' or something.

Hold on know what would make sence for finding the spellbook. If you IP address number came to a figure some how. The server would look at your number and generate a room based on your number could that be a possibility? Anyone who has got the spell book could check and see if perhaps the room corolates to the last two numbers of your Ip added together or any kind a weird sequence like that..

Driving me crazy I've been at it for 3 hours and still doesnt work!!!!

can someone tell me what im doing wrong??? the gaps just get bigger

You want the gap to get bigger. When the gap is 15 small notches, click on the weird marks on the right side of the cover or one of the three dots on the floor. You will get your clue.

Have you found which gears open the ceiling 4, 5 & 6 notches? Rock up those three gears, click the button, then click on the dots that you clicked on at the very very begininng.

Try clicking just one gear at a time, seeing what effect it has and then clicking on another after taking the stone out of the last. So you're just seeing the effect of one gear at a time. Whilst doing this see how much it goes right by and then in the end you should have three gears of 4, 5 and 6

Does anyone have a screenshot as to what the spell book looks like? The way I am going, I will never find it, and I would just like to see it one time :cry:

Also, some people have listed that they found the book in room 12-12 for instance, then they say book 5 or 6 or whatever. Where are they starting from?

Many splits earlier, I mentioned that the Altador Plot wouldn't be over with the 12th constellation. I just couldn't see how a plot can be over after finding a constellation. And I'm right

You need to get it so the flap on the right hand side is open until the 15th notch. Then click on the dots.

In other news, I've now checked everywhere from

(3,3) to (15,3)
(3,6) to (15,6)

For the book to no avail. I'm doing till 15,9 then going to bed. This is freakin' ridiculous

[EDIT] - Scratch that. Going to bed after doing (3,9) and (6,9). When I wake up, I had better see somebody has found a much easier way of doing this, or else its TNT Garotting time...

Hmmm, so far in the rooms I've checked there's always one shelf of a bookcase that doesn't have any books on - perhaps when I find the right room my book will be there

Oh goodie, now I can go on for hours and perhaps know where it might turn up *cries* there has to be some logic to it or this mini-plot will last for years
