AIM and Yahoo both are bloated, loaded with spyware and can be penetrated. For a reliable instant messenger client download trillion. Works with both of the above and is free.

I have YIM (as well as MSN and AIM), but I almost never get on, let alone talk to people on it. I mainly use it for LaunchCast. However, if someone is looking to extent their buddy list...my username is amuahaha.

Nope. I only have IM and I'm usually always on it.

And the problem with Trillian is that I've heard it royally sucks.

Only if you don't know what your doing. I've used it for over a year with no problems. It don't have all the games and junk AIM and YIM have but I don't wish all the spyware to be placed on my computer.
