Yes, I would say it is from the Daily Dare. The lag started as soon as DD came live on site at about 1am NST.

That's interesting. At the top of the Daily Dare story page, it says 'Chapter: 1'. Does that imply there could be more of a storyline...?

I don't think the 2 are tied in. TNT had the Daily Dare last year--I think it was last March, also. As far as the Chapters go, I can't remember if we had a story explaining why we had to challange AAA and Abigail. I THINK there was something, just maybe not as potentially elaborate as this year's.

I want them to be tied in, but I don't have enough info yet to speculate.

It looked like a Wocky kidnapped AAA and Abigail. Is there a wocky in the Sloth plot (that we know of, yet?).

And I've noticed the lag. It was slow going doing my dailies this morning!

They will be the only combinations for you to solve the message.

I haven't noticed a lag...and while I don't think the two events are tied to each other, I'm not going to put it past TNT. What possible use could Dr. Frank Sloth have for the two gaming neopets?

The new plot is really awesome, but isn't it sort of unfair that those of us who are stuck on the decoding can't continue on with the plot? It's only the second step, and if I have to finish the decoding to do the rest of the plot, it will make me sad. *sad face* ~cheeseworld101
That step came out weeks ago. We try to make sure there is plenty of time for you to figure out the puzzles so that you can continue on with the plot. We understand that some steps are difficult, but we have to make sure there is something in the plots for all levels of people. We are sorry, but everyone must pass that plot step, though, to continue on with the plot.

I couldnt work them out logically, just go through em with brute force. Try option 1 with 2 and 3, then 1,2,4 etc. Takes a while, but you get there eventually.

Gosh, TNT is giving us plenty to do! First the plot, now the daily dare too. Not sure how I feel about it. On the other hand I do really like these activities, but it is a bit much. I wonder why the didn't host the events on different dates. If you'd spread the events out over the year, wouldn't there be a more constant flow of players over the year? But I like both events so I can't complain.

These are my BD stats so far:
Garoo Elite Junior Squadron +201
Garoo Elite Strike Commanders +75
Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan +10
Mutant Grundo Scouts +150
Virtupets Militia +45

I'm going to fight the grundo scouts up to 200 and maybe I can get a few wins on the garoo strike commanders and the virtupets militia. That's enought for me

Does anyone think there will be win limits this time? I'm not really sure. On the one hand I think there will be win limits, because it's the only way the get a balance between the two parts (so it won't overshadow the puzzle part completely). On the other hand TNT is leaving the oponnents open for quite a long time.
