Has anyone tried any of the individual things? I haven't. Just curious as to if there is any help out there on those.

Where do you find the individual things?

Above the team things...next to the black box for finding singularities.

Ah, I had just gone straight to the team thing without realizing. Thanks.

I've tried all of them. The only one I can get is the one where you have to find a singularity. And it seems fairly random to me, but there may be a strategy.

The formulas posted earlier for the gravitaitonal testing are great! Unfortunately, I've been the only one of the four in my group to get it right, or to not get booted for "sleeping"... Its taking forever to get nowhere. :x

I'm wondering for the metal individual one if we have to get the percentage of a certain metal up to 100...

Edit: Well that didn't work.

Well, don't know how much anyone else has gotten on the production end.

= Singularities =
This is probably the only part of this stage that is straightforward and simple. Hardly needs to be covered. The other two, however, are another petpetpet altogether.

= Control Rods =
I've managed, by pure luck, to make all of two control rods.

The down side is it didn't cross my mind to record anything on the first one and the theory in my mind didn't end up working out.

On the plus side, I took a screenshot whenever I processed and FINALLY got another successful run and saved it with the name of the resulting metal.

Into the furnace I dumped:
Mass 1 - 3.2kg
Composition: 59.4% Meridellium; 12.5% Tikium; 28.1% Kadoatite
Mass 2 - 2.0kg
Composition: 5.0% Tikium; 55.0% Slothite; 40.0% Faeryllium
Mass 3 - 3.7kg
Composition: 32.4% Tyrannium; 29.7% Zafarium; 37.8% Tikium
Mass 4 - 1.1kg
Composition: 18.2% Zafarium; 63.6% Dariganium; 18.2% Meridellium.

I don't know if it means anything or is pure chance, but both times I succeeded, it was a 10kg set.

Looked over it a number of times but see nothing conclusive. But frankly, my brain has had it for now. Hope someone finds this data useful.

= Acid =
As far as the acid is concerned, I've been very successful at making absolutely none. Seriously, if you want nothing made, I've more or less mastered the process.....

I've set up Excel to convert everything to common measurements and let me just punch in the three numbers and get mass out of it. At this point, however, I haven't found any useful way to relate mass to the time necessary.

The only way I can really think of at the moment that MIGHT get us anywhere is if a group of people keep plugging at the acids and ALL of them plug in the same time EVERY time until someone gets it (e.g. 30sec or whatever). Statistically, at SOME point, one would think there should be a combo that matches up.

I'd hypothesize we won't see a time over 180 (since everything else in this process seems limited by that), but who knows at this point?

But I'm done for now. I don't have the patience ATM to do much more than 10-20min at a time.

Good luck to those still working at it at these wee hours of the morn.

[Edit] Okay. Really have been at it too long. The process above made Slothite. Sorry to leave that out. :(

From now on, please use the token testing thread ( viewtopic.php?f=55&t=35801 ) to problem-solve and organise yourselves for the new plot step.

To discuss the plot in general please use this thread.

Seriously... this part is ridiculus. XD I can't get into a room that anyone has any slight idea of what they're doing. And there's too much waiting. :/ I don't think we're supposed to be having fun.
