Do the gems stop appearing after about 500m or so? Because that seems to be apparent in my games..

Gems stop appearing after 450 points worth (more if you get a red one in your last set, or if you're lucky and are at 440 points, and then come across two sets of three gems in a wide-open space, pushing you to 500... even higher if one or two of the gems are red).



I got a bronze last night, with a lower score... hopefully this new one holds for at least silver by the next trophy giveout (about 12 and a half hours from now, heh). I'm happy, though -- I just wanted a trophy of any color.

EDIT: Nobody scored higher, so I got my gold. Yay!

I got gold the second day after it came out. only needed a core of 1536 then.

Another measly Graphics Over Gameplay game, Neopets has lost their touch. First the gameroom, and now this.

I wish they'd just keep things simple, and neat.

So is anyone else here really good at the game, and if so, have you experienced this? Twice I've made it to 1051 meters and just... died. I didn't hit a thing, but simply burned up in midair and got the game over screen -- even though I had three lives left.

If everyone automatically dies for good at 1051 meters, that explains why the highest score on the table is 1560... the person made it that far and also got an extra bonus of gems. I'm pretty sure the highest anyone could possibly score is 1571, and that is only if they collected 440 points worth of gems, then came across a cave with six gems in it, two of them red, for a total of 520 gem points... AND got a distance of 1051 meters. That's almost impossible. Not totally, but almost. I'm gonna make that my new goal.
