BFM: Herald 22 (My first war!)
HaTIC: Footpad 500 (Trained like mad)
This War: 604 (I was very lucky; had 84 everything. Skated just under the level 2 line
)
However, I agree that this war has been quite unfair to the older set. Someone who has spent millions on training and weapons deserves more points and a better trophy and prizes than a newbie! And my poor sister is stuck as a supporter

If a 0 was added to my score for this war, probs would have been what I'd get if this was a normal war.
I don't get how we can compare any of the past wars to this war. it makes no sense. The format was different, so comparing it to anything isn't wise. If we had another war like that, in the past, then sure, but it's not worth comparing.

I didn't have much time to play on neopets. Plus I chose a supporting role to see what it was like, waaaay too expensive for me most of the time, plus I'm awful at all of those games.

To be completely honest, I actually liked this war.
And, all in all, this was a better war than the others because it gave non-battlers the option to compete and contribute and earn points, and it tried to set up a comparison system so that battlers would compete against others in their certain group, which is a great idea. I'm tired of comparing my pets against featheralley's, because I know that they can't compete. They're nowhere near as good - but in a segregated grouping, yeah, my gelert is pretty darned good, and I'm a pretty decent battler.
Yes, there were problems - the cutoff for rank 2 should have been 100, not 85. That's a problem. And there probably should have been an option for players to have their scores reset and step down to a lower level if they were within a certain threshold. Perhaps that will change for the next war.
But I'm seeing a lot of "well, if you've been on the site longer, you should get better prizes" talk. Here's the thing: nobody knows what the prizes will be. Nobody knows that the rank 1 trophies will be cooler than the rank 2 or 3 trophies, and same with the prizes, but there's a lot of assumptions that they will be.
But jeez - relax before blowing TNT out of the water on this one. There have been absolutely no prizes or trophies given out, so it doesn't do any good to assume that the ones that are given out will suck. I don't have a prize or trophy. You don't have a prize or trophy. Nobody does. It's all just speculation, and the vitriol that's being aimed at the staff isn't legitimate. If it turns out that the worst-case scenario is the one that we see, then fine, flame away. But for now, chill out a little.

HatIC: 7506 (I didn't train any because of the lack of training schools for my pet)
