What the heck just happened to Neopets?

I just did a test. Moved something out of my SDB and into my shop. And it worked. Just bought something from a shop and got the item in my inventory. Just took 1 np out of my bank and out of my shop till. And both worked. So looks like Neopets is working ok. So far. *crosses fingers*

Oh Lord; if the site had been doing this while I was auctioning for that Krawk potion this morning, I would have freaked.

Methinks I'll stay off the site until they at least get today's news up. Just in case.

If you were online while the site was acting funny earlier this afternoon, sorry about that! We were having some database difficulties, but not to worry. All your data is perfectly fine, the issue has been fixed, and we've ordered the servers to never do that again if they know what's good for them.

Wow, they actually acknowledged it!!!

Every time I go to any page on Neopets, it comes up blank (and done loading) and I have to refresh like six times before it actually shows the page

What's going on?

Is anybody else having trouble logging in as well? I keep getting told my username doesn't exist.

Yeah, Neopet is EXTREMELY slow right now.
And the Login and Logout pages come up blank.
So I'm stuck.

I'm also experiencing some lag as of right now (10:48 PM EST). Aside from that, everything's fine.

Hmm, thought I'd check in here. My roomie just was trying to log in and she said it took a few tries just to get the site to come up, then when she put her password in and clicked submit nothing happened.

So she's giving up for the night. I told her what the advent things for today were, and they should be affordable tomorrow (assuming the cg thing is done?).

I'm really glad I missed that Array mess earlier today.

It's super slow! I'm trying to play pyramids, and lets just say it's been about half an hour, and i've only moved two cards.
Excuse me while I go pull my hair out!
I'm sure they'll make it go a little faster soon.
