Whoa! That'd be 284.6¢/L over here in Canada- well over double of our prices! Now you guys definitely have it tough.

Aye, very expensive here :(

I think it's because we import it all???

Nah. Because of the 75% tax on it.

Yeah, our tax on petrol is really high too.

We're about $1.29 a litre, whatever that is in $USD/gallons I have no idea.

It's predicted to hit $1.40 soon though.

Dunno about where you live, but at the petrol stations around here, motorists are getting used to prices of about 1.40c per litre. And I remember my parents complaining about 90c per litre just a few years back!

$1.30/litre.

We pay $50 each time we fill up. :(

But our prices are nothing compared to other people's.

($=Canadian)

Edit: Nevermind, read it wrong. You do have it bad Bno.

Yaay. We're getting cheaper. The Spinx (if you live outside of SC, you won't know what a Spinx is. Live in SC and don't know what a Spinx is = you need to drive around SC. :P) where my mom works is currently $2.99, and that means all Spinx are $2.99. Sad thing is my dad knows the girl that works at that Spinx, and their wholesale is $2.12.

I remember about my parents complaining about 70¢/L too. It seems so much like waaaay back when, I can't believe it's only been two years. XD

South Florida it's about anywehre from $2.85-$3 a gallon *doesn't know what that converts to in other places*. My dad says it's cheaper than the rest of the country because we don't have to pay shipping taxes (we're close enough to the port that gets all the oil so yeah)

You're lucky. We're usually cheaper than you...right now it's vice-versa!

According to B 93.7's website, the cheapest is actually $2.89 in some place called Williamston. No clue. But I liked this when I read it. The description is: "I got this e-mail today and about fell out of my chair. This has to be someone kidding, right??? Or maybe we should feel sorry for the gas companies right now!!! See the e-mail for yourself..."

Well the gas over here ( I mean in Portugal ) is getting quite expensive. It's currently at 1.19 euros/litre, I don't know how much that is in dollars but it's quitte expensive for us here.

Well, today the exchange markets are putting 1 dollar US at about .819 euro, so it's
(1.19 E/Litre)($1.00/.819E)(3.785 L/Gal) or...

$5.50 per gallon in Portugal.

Oh wow. I sure hope that trend sweeps to the west, we're still getting prices above 110.

Anyway, apparently Google has this neat function that acts as a calculator. If I put in "1.10 CAD per litre in USD per gallon", I get...

1.10 (Canadian dollars per litre) = 3.51447625 U.S. dollars per US gallon

Eh, it's still up there.

They actually went down. O_O And they've been the same price for about a week. *sigh of relief.* Average is $2.99/gallon now.
