Though it does seem a little like cheating, since Abe's last update was February 2006...But, no matter. A huge jump is a huge jump, so congratulations!

Whenever you feel like, but do it when you update a few points at least. Updating at every change is not recommended.

I only update my pet when I update the list - I have that luxury, and I intend to abuse it as much as possible.

As for the rest of you plebians and serfs, I'd say once every three weeks? Or whenever you reach a point that you want to gloat about. Really, as often as you feel is prudent.
