As itzipg posted before, there's a way to replace the goalie-trick...
At the kickoff, just get the ball and run straight into an opponent. He won't move from his starting position and no other players will move either, so this way you can easily hit space bar and do something else while time ticks away

i dont know guys... roo island has a lot of supporters.... and theyve shown to be surprisingly strong despite their appearance as a little mini world team.... im scared to think positive thinking they might win as a result! But im still working my butt off.... im at 9 points.... just started recently..... lets DO THIS!
you know.... i say let them leave it like that, because i think they are actually only hurting themselves doing that, because they could be earning MORE points.. like twice or thrice the points if they actually tried... they can sit there with there one point win, but in the SAME three minutes, other people are getting 9 point wins..... in the same time!
What happens if your goalie holds the ball more than 5 seconds? Im too busy to try and find out....

This is DEFINATELY harder. Ive only managed to get to get a 9-0 once.... and that was the only time i made it to 9 points! Luckily ive mastered alll of the balls finally and know their sweet spots but the computer is what is making it harder! The things im noticing are:
1) They can kick better. There passes go farther, which makes mutant and faerie balls easy to intercept, but if its a close pass, or an ice or fire ball, they just ZOOM from one player to the next! They pass VERY quickly!
2) There's either a glitch, or the players actually ARE stronger, because when pressing shift, theyve actually stopped my players in their tracks on numerous occasions... and a few times, theyve run into each other, and their team loses two players because the two are in a squabble trying to run through eachother! It's like their strenght level has been upped 200%!
3) i actually think they are a little bit faster... it might be just me, but theyve managed to catch up to me or the ball faster then previously....
4) Just as passing faster, they are shooting faster. If they are on YOUR 3rd of the court, its very hard to block a fire ball!
5) They defineteley have strategies or something, because theyll pass the ball to 3 or 4 players before it gets to the main offensive player... its crazy... the only way i get the ball is by intercepting (only with mutant and faerie balls) or beating it off of the player.... but they turn so sneakily now.... oi!

I definitely applaud the change that the goalie can only hold the ball 5 seconds but I have to boo the bug where my players keep getting "stuck" behind his players. This especially affects my previous forward player in their goal area - I press shift to send him back and he runs into the centre-back player and can't get past him so just sticks there 
I've not managed a single 9-0 this round (although I did get an 8-0) I even had to settle for a 2-0 win in one game which I never did previously.
