I'm sure half of the trivia I "know" is actually incorrect. To clarify, though, I'm pretty confident in my toilet knowledge.

Which brings me back to another great British saying:
"Told a pack of porkies," which has nothing to do with people or hogs.


That's one that even I know the meaning of, which also reminds me of "It's been yonks since..." Meaning it's been a long time since...

Speaking of lavatories, when I was on holiday my gran mentioned someone going to the lavatory and I thought it sounded really cool and I asked if we could go there too XD
