Probably not in the grand scheme of things, but the fact that I first discovered Neopets ten years ago is mind-blowing to me. Half of my life - a whole decade - dedicated to virtual pets! Granted I haven't been on since whenever they revamped the site, but still. I should celebrate. I could make a toast to it next year - when I'm able to legally drink!

10 and a half years, coming up on year 11. I'm more than a veteran. I'm ancient.

*ahem* I've learned it's really easy to lose contact with people should you let it happen. In my case, I got a tweet message from a coworker who let me know something, and I gave him a call because he must be up at the time in order to make that message. We talked and noted how it would be harder to see each other now, and I realized how very much I've lost touch with other coworkers. Something I need to rectify in the coming weeks. Possibly, funding willing.
