It's only limited edition species, special paint colour (anything fancy and not 'flat' like cloud, starry etc, halloween) and over level one pets that under 4 months can't adopt. TNT weren't very clear in their FAQ.

A few people on the boards just helped me to find out as I'd been seeing people under 4 months transferring and receiving transfers. The rule is the same as before the pound closed.

Feel free to test it if any of ye have a young account. This is not possible for me but I had some help from kind people on the Help Chat. =)

So I'm looking for a legit way adapting out pets I pick up in the pound and zap. I had a bad expreance doing it on my own (the person was frozen shortly after adapting a Poogle from me) and I don't want that to happen to my next world ready pet. Here is his stat's if anyone here is interested:
