Take that and double it on all accounts.Pickles wrote:Pleasantly surprised, but now very anxious and mildly hopeful.

I am totally, TOTALLY shaking right now. So excited/happy/nervous/exhilarated....I feel like I'm in a whirlwind. I think that's about the only way i can describe it.

Have I missed something? What brought on these energizing emotions?!Pickles wrote:Take that and double it on all accounts.Pickles wrote:Pleasantly surprised, but now very anxious and mildly hopeful.

I just accepted a new job!!!!!!Regan wrote:Have I missed something? What brought on these energizing emotions?!
I've been looking for a new job for 11 months now. I applied for one Sunday night, got a call on Tuesday, had an interview Wednesday (over the phone conferenced with 3 people on my lunch break, none-the-less), and got a job offer this morning. I start Dec. 8th. It's been one heckova week, needless to say.

Re: How are you feeling? (Splitrageous!)
Thanks!!! It's the same type of job I've got - IT support - 'cept I'll be actually going to people's computers to help them. Also...it's about 5 minutes from home instead of an hour.Regan wrote:Congratulations! What kind of job is it?
More excitement: We went out car shopping for a used car (as we will no longer be able to carpool), and my husband haggled himself an excellent deal on a '99 car that has only about 60k miles on it - and no mechanical problems (yes, we checked)!
What a whirlwind week! At least now I've calmed down enough that my tummy realizes it *is* hungry...it was really hard to eat breakfast and lunch, I was so excited.

Congrats on the new job!
I'm feeling annoyed. This computer is worthless, and Microsoft isn't making me the happiest either.

Oddly happy, for my situation. I was sick all day, am behind on both my NaNo word count and homework, and hate my life now.

Calmer. I am no longer bouncing off the walls (thankfully), but I'm still feeling rather excited. Just filled out all the paperwork needed, which made it a LOT more real. Well, that and waking up this morning and it still not being a dream and all.

I am seriously all butterflies now. Just the fact that he called and we both had a laugh really made my day so much better
