There's a Pink Ink article about this game, but to save you some time and indulge your laziness, the fireball powerup cuts the fastest swathe of destruction.

7/7 - Got my PB - 2315 (shame the scores dont show up).

Some tips that may work for you:

Get all 4 fireballs and stick to the lower right.

The grarrl usually only pops up in the middle or left hand side.

There are less enemies flying down the right and you are safer from the white 'dactyl, that always flies in from the left.

Pterattack completed.
Took me a while - and I was irritated because I had a previous high score of 4000.

6/7 games so far.
It's so tempting to go back to Meerca Chase but I have work to do

I almost regret choosing Abigail for 2 of the challenges. And I almost hope something much harder than what they've been giving us shows up on the scene, because that way my cowardice will be justified and I won't feel as bad.

In other news: gunning for spifftastic- my internet went *poof* last week, so I'm out for the rest.
My general method is I go with the one that gives the prize I want (e.g., Abigail's Turmac Roll prize, rather than AAA's) and challenge Abigail for games I can't stand (*cough* Faerie Bubbles *cough)

For Pteraattack- the decent weapons are the fireballs and the purple pterboom thing. Foreball level 3 prestty much means ypu can just hold the spacebar and watch the points roll in. Pterboom is only good at level 4, when the boomerangs are HUGE.
Stat away fro the other two weapons.

Really? I thought this was a harder one. My high score on this game is 1092, set today.

At any rate, I'm still on 8/8 pace. And I'm glad to see that, for me at least, a harder game.

Ugh... personal best 1084.. set sometime ago. Can't get past 756 today for Itchy game .. any tips? So far, 7/8 on Daily Dare - including Double Dare.

Shooting for matching/beating all games against AAA. Alas.. it may not be in the Neopian stars for me.

Somebody has hilariously used copy and paste on the PPT front page, so that the game is written "Pterattack" instead of the actual game.

Ugh... personal best 1084.. set sometime ago. Can't get past 756 today for Itchy game .. any tips? So far, 7/8 on Daily Dare - including Double Dare.

Shooting for matching/beating all games against AAA. Alas.. it may not be in the Neopian stars for me.

Wait until the last possible second to shoot the purple bomb. By that I mean, when you see it, wait until the row of petpetpets in front of you is ALMOST off the screen before shooting it.

Count to 8 shots fired before shooting the green ammo bomb.



In the first two levels, shoot everything.

In the third and fourth levels, shoot everything except whatever the actively-chomping red ones are, and shoot them only when your itch-o-meter is getting too high.

In the fifth level: survive.
