I'm also struggling on the oil-and-rag. I've been to the archives, and I've spoke to the janitor. I'm not sure what I may have missed.

Guys, dunno if ya'll relized: But the gemstones are differant for each statue! Prehaps that means somthing?

I see. Well, I revisited the Archives and went through the book discussion with the Archivist. Maybe now I will have better luck with finding my oil and rag.

Guys, go up the staircase on the left side of the hall. There is a telescope. I think the gems above each statue symbolize constellations and we'll have to use that telescope somehow... but I've no idea what to do now.

Hmmm...actually, that looks more like a telescope stand with no telescope. Prehaps we have to find it?

I'm trying to get on the same page as everyone else so I can help. I'm sorry I've been such an annoyuance thus far. :oops:

Edit: My oil and rag was behind Psellia. Not sure of the significance....
