'twould be awesome if I could...but I keep getting....

Safari can’t open the page “http://www.neopets.com/battledome/battledome.phtml?type=status” because it could not load any data from this location.

Once I get that...I have to withdraw...ugh!

I think you always get fully healed after a fight you win. I think. It happens to me too and doesn't seem that unusual.

As for weapons, try asking that in our Battledome board and check the In-Depth Battlepedia. Careful though, the prices are probably much higher than usual due to the war. A good thing to try to get though is a Leaf Shield. those are cheap and protect you from so much damage; they practically negate everything the stones throw at you!

I'm pretty sure it always does that on one-player fights. Two-player fights keep your damage. :)

edit- I've found that trying to fight while I'm supposed to be doing something in class helps. Click a link, go do some work, check page, repeat. ;)

Bor-ing! so far, I haven't been able to make even one strike. Not cause my pet is powerless, but because I am stopped dead every time by a 'page cannot be displayed'.

Thanks for telling me anywhos an' yeah. I'm buying dubloons in surplus before, if, they go up. Even if the fighting ends tomorrow, you can never have too many ^^

I really hope it doesn't end tomorrow though... I've only gotten in two complete fights... Well, at least I've gotten that many. ;)

Yeah, it's going to be heck trying to fight at home. I'm working off of a school computer with a very fast connection, and I still can hardly get in... Maybe it'll speed up tonight if we're lucky (everyone going to sleep...;))

This is my exact strategy, and it's working all right, even if it is a little boring.

the lag is slightly better for me. now, if there isn't an error, it's only about 1-2 minutes of wait before the screen loads

Me, too. :) It's tedious, but it works all right.

It would be so cool if certain abilities (like strength and defense and stuff) would advance as you do more battles...

Well I've managed 30 fights against the Ominous Stones, 15 against the Macabre Stones and 20 against the Furious Stones. I could continue fighting against each one, as they're still easy as can be, but the lag is kiling me. My last fight was only one round, but it took seven minutes for the page to refresh! Unfortunately because of the different time zones you'll be hard-pressed to find a time when there aren't an unsusually high number of people at the BD.

It's really frustrating as this is the first plot my pet's actually fit enough to fight!
