Ive been flitting around Happy Valley, Terror Mountain and and the Ice Caves all day. Ive had numerous random events...even a winter one, the chilled to the bone one, I also had a random red pteri fly by, received a codestone and was told a couple of things my pets wanted to eat. NOTHING! Grrr, how frustrating. Seems puzzling to me!

Not sure if you noticed, but if you look at the news, it sometimes says "Remember to check the weather forcast!" with a link to the weather. Right before it says "2nd February."
Then again, I did go and refresh the Terror Mountain weather a zillion times, but got nothin'. So a false hint? or a hint at something else? Something in your inventory? I've never been good at this.

It says that randomly when you bring up the news every day of the year. :)

Here's something you guys might want to know...

When you drop a box thing (Like in his screenie, the Neopets Yellow changing side bar thing) you can't right click. If you do, nothing happens.

Also, Ctrl + P for print closes it automatically.
