Well this has never happened before (although I haven't played Neopets for a few years), but Neopets takes forever to load anything, and images.neopets.com just does not work. Takes about three minutes to load a page, sometimes more. I could probably click and make myself a cup of tea before it loads. I use Mozilla but IE has the same problem. My brother who is on the same network as me also experiences these spikes. It seems to be temperamental about being slow because last night it was fine, then spiked, then fine, then spiked.
I live in the UK and use BT Broadband.
I've tried turning off Adblock (Mozilla plug-in), PeerGuardian and Zonealarm.

Help? :]

Still not fixed for me.
I think there must be some technical solution.
I'm behind a router, and it finds the most trouble loading images.neopets.com. The times at which Neopets actually works seems to be random. The thing is, if I plug in my ADSL modem, Neopets works fine.
Using the router I've tried using web-proxies and it loads perfectly, and as I said I've switched off Peer Guardian, Adblock, Zonealarm.. even tried Internet Explorer *shudder*.
Another oddity is a laptop on the network CAN access Neopets.

Help.

EDIT: I can PING http://www.neopets.com but not images.neopets.com.

I'm having the same problem.
It's getting in the way of playing a simple game like Pyramids, due to the fact that when it loads that slow, I get impatient and click back or refresh, and it normally draws an extra card. :(
