For those of you who saw Britney's performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, I'm sorry you had to witness that. What with the black sequined bikini, the terrible hair extensions, and the lethargic dance moves, I'd have to say it was really pathetic. Normally I'm all for celebrity schadenfreude, but this was downright sad. I honestly think the jerks at MTV only asked her to come on because they knew it'd be such a disaster. If you watched closely enough you could see Rihanna laughing at her and I'm sure that she wasn't the only one.

Mamas, don't let your girls grow up to be Mousketeers.

I wouldn't call her fat by any means, but the outfit she was wearing was made for the body she had before her kids, not the one she has now.

Someone should have told her to wear something else. She looked good to me, but not in that bra and underwear.

What i'm more disgusted by is her performance. It's almost as if she didn't know the words that she was lipsyncing and she didn't know the dance steps. She was quite awkward. It was embarressing.

Her body really isn't bad, she just needs to stop dressing like she did at 18. It doesn't work. She looked really confused during the 'performance.' Also, the lip syncing is nothing new, but she could have at least tried this time.

For whatever reason, I still like her. I don't care that she doesn't make "quality music" or that everything is way overproduced. The songs are still extremely catchy.

I'm sorry, Britney. You can't erase everything that's happened since you hooked up with that leech and gave birth to his kids. You can lose the weight, but your body will not be as sleek and taut as it was before the pregnancy. You can put on the boots with the high stiletto heels, and wear the black bikini, but people won't see the Pop Princess onstage: they see a woman who's too old for that kind of silliness stumbling around onstage, trying desperately to play the part of a sexy teenage girl when she can't even move like a teenage girl anymore.
You're twenty-five now, Britney. Please TRY to age with dignity.

Funny how everyone over here got so excited about it only to be disappointed by her refusal to try to pull off a somewhat ...enthusiatic, comeback. She just looked like she didn't care about anything that was going on at the time.

So, if she doesn't really want to come back and "do her thing" like she used to, why should "the public" support her? So she could feed her ex-husband? I don't think so.
