I discovered another account on neo that I made awhile back but forgot the password so I haven't login in along time but I like the pets that are on it.

Should I login to the account and abandon the pets?

Then delete the account after I abandon the pets?

What should I do the pets are painted? or Should I not do a thing?

What would you recommend?

Use both your neo accounts, is what'd I'd do, if you like the pets. You can have one main account and upto four sides.
