I'm trying to get that Booktastic Book thing and I am down to the last 2 books. The 90K one and this one silly book that everytime I try to read it to my pet he says "That is such a boring book"! HELP! It doesn't have the same number of letters in the name that my pet does, why don't he want to read it? How do I make him read it? Do you think if I raise his intelligence, that he will read the thing? I hate to spend the 90K if he won't read that one last cheap book!

There is a formula (I don't know it though) that determines if you pet will eat certain foods, play with toys, read books, etc.. You can always try to RS the book like I did, it's not very hard.

If the total characters in a food or book etc. is the same number of characters as in your pets name they will dislike the item. I believe thats how it goes.

I tink someone posted the formula yesterday but you can get aroun it by reading it to your pet in another language. :D

My pet has 5 letters in his name and the book I need him to read is Moon Missions. So, the little beggar is just being difficult! :x

Tonu hit it on the head. Just change your language preference on the side bar, which most likely will cause the number of letters in the book's title to change.

That makes sence because I remember the formula now...

# in petname-n

(n+1)*2
and
(n*2)+1

If the answer to either is the same as number of characters in the book name, it shouldnt read it....

(I'm pretty sure that's the formula...)

The language change does not always work though...

I swear that I've had it change to a different number of letters and it still didn't work.. i.e. from 16 to 13...

I think it may just be (n+1)*x, where x is an integer. If the number of letters in a book or petpet is equal to n, or equal to (n+1)*x, then your pet can't read the book.

I could very well be wrong.

There are quite a few languages available- try a different one if one doesn't work.
