Goodbye

Dear fellow PPTers,

I am writing this letter to tell you all that I am stepping down from my role as moderator at PPT and shall be leaving the forums. I have been a part of PPT for 4 and a half years and I would be lying if I said that PPT hasn’t been a large part of my life for much of that time. I have made some wonderful friends through PPT, many of whom I have since met IRL. This has not been an easy decision to make, but sadly the decision has been made.

I have given PPT second, third and hundredth chances, and I have finally reached the end of my tether. A combination of inconsistent, nonexistent and unaccountable leadership has forced my hand into making this choice. Spending countless hours on the forum trying to improve it only to have suggestions shot down, or worse, ignored gives your soul quite a beating, and I’m fed up of carrying on in this masochistic way.

I’ve seen this point coming for a while, but I think I can date the point that I decided that I had to sit down and write this letter back to when I was happily singing along to “Every day I love you less and less” and realised that the same sentiment can be applied to my feelings for PPT.

I’m very sad to be leaving, especially since I have so many good friends here, but I will still be around elsewhere, and anyone that wants to stay in touch can contact me by MSN or AIM. I will also still be around playing WW over on May’s fantastic forum.

And so, I say goodbye. I wish you all well wherever you may end up.
