Unfortunatly, he got distracted by a very large plate of cookies, so was easily visable, for cookies simply don't disappear.

Unfortunatly, his wand was broken, if he cast a Memory Charm, it would fire at him, not at those who know too much. His scar was hurting too. Voldemort was near!

Fortunately somebody threw a large hardback edition of The Order of the Phoenix at him which knocked him out.

Fortunatly, it was a ruined edition anyways, as it had a bunch of dark, curley script on the pages.
