I need a way to get rid of flies in a kitche without contaminating the plates/food...is this possible? =/

Just hit them when they land on the counter with something big... And if you hit them on a plate, then clean it. o.O

You could try fly paper. Also, try to find out how the flies are getting into the kitchen and seal that area (close windows, fill cracks in walls, etc.).

Im not exactly sure how they get in...i was thinking maybe getting something they like ALOT...sugar water? and then just dumping bug poison in that and praying they eat it.Anyone think that would work?

It could. I haven't tried it myself. You'd have to keep that away from anyone else in the house and pets if you try that.

There are fly lanterns/lights out there that kill or ward off flies as well, but if you're desperate to kill them, go to an Asian market and buy a few electric fly swatters. It's like a tennis racket with an extra sting.

Yeah, fly paper is good. Its exceedingly cruel but you are going to kill them anyway....

Acctually there are teenis racket things that you zap bugs with. It's fun. Hay look a hornet. *ZAP* There would be alot of dead bugs where I live. Alot.

It's kinda hard not to look at them when you're arachnaphobic (like me). She'd probably avoid the kitchen altogether if there were spiders in it.
