I was hacked, yet again thinking of quitting!

Fri Jul 16, 2004 8:06 am

a few days ago, sloth turned my h4k into a pile of sludge, now someone hacked me, with a mystery island pb, pirat epb, 2x 100 dub coins, halloween pb and 800k pure gone

so, the total of nps i lost in a year? over 20mil! not from this account alone!

:o OH MY GOD!

I'm SO sorry :( I know what it's like to lose a H4H  I lost one too, and now my sister hates me cause she let me borrow it!

Oy, that sucks. Maybe a nice break is in order? When I started getting tired of Neopets ands mishaps related to it, I usually take a nice break and completely stay away from the site for a while. It really helps to put things in perspective. :)

Yeah, but in the end you'll be going back, with nothing.

yeah, thats the saddest part, i had over 7mil, seems nothing to some people, lost it all in 2-3 days, when i had taken my 1month break, i came back with 10k, and got 7mil, so i might be able to do something!

if you have never given your email address or talk to any neopets players on a chat service; never went to any dubious webpages and obviously never given out your password, then you need to check your system for any keyloggers.

Yeah, I see much much Np that is, but my brain just can't see how hard it must be to get so much!

To be honest, over 4 years I've only achieved about 425k. It wasn't so attractive when I first started, and only got into the sprit at the start of 2002, and 2004.

I think they're those things than scan your computer's security/memory for any passwords or remembered stuff.

keyloggers are trojan virus that attempt to read your keystrokes while you are typing your password.
