No. All things sent from neopets end in @neopets.com. This is a scam. DO NOT respond. Exspecially with your password. Neopets has clearly said that they do not EVER ask for your password.

And they send warnings through neomail.

It's a scam. And a pathetic one. Don't worry about your account.

Oh crap.

Tue Jul 27, 2004 7:29 pm

I would think that if it was from Adam Powell, he would spell his name right in his username

Any e-mail from Neopets is from their domain (neopets.com), not Hotmail. It's a scam.

Yep, a scam. I've gotten a few of them, just delete it

Ok, good. For the future, remember that neopets will never as for your password, and things sent will end in @neopets.com, and warnings for the boards are always sent through neomail.

Glad to have helped.

Make sure you report this to Neopets. Copy and paste the entire email and email address--they might be able to contact hotmail and get this jerk's IP address.

Also change the password and secret question on your email account--just in case.

And, next time, you get anything that ever looks like this again, ask your fellow PPTers first--before doing anything. Alot of us have "been there, done that."

change all of your passes and secret questions and remember Noone from Neopets staff will EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER ask for your password. Good luck to you!

i think you just need to change your mail to full headers and you will be able to see the sender's ip address.

remember to check the email you put in the neopets' settings and change its password. Make sure the changed password of your email will not be send to another email.
