My stocks are down ~16% on average from when I bought them -- I always buy at 15 NP, and I have 123k shares outstanding right now... It's almost as bad as the real stock market (I'm trying to avoid looking at my 401K statement -- I know it's best to just leave the money alone right now).

Oh, well. I guess when the market turns, I'll be gloating about all the NP I'm making off it.

My aged Huggy reached avatar age today. But oh my gosh! I just realised that the huggy has eyes!



I always thought it was squinting and today I was just staring at it counting down the seconds when I realised that the eyes were open. It still doesn't look right to me, but I think I like the petpet a little bit more for it. :/

Since my last post I have gotten 2 new avatars.

First, Elephante: Surprise!. Got the Bag of Peanuts for only 255k, which is a steal compared to the prices it's been hitting lately. The occasional 250s get snatched up really fast so I just offered 255k on one (through neomail, I refuse to actually bid on the TP) and got it!

Second, I got the Mootix avatar from a nice lender from my guild.

Since joining the guild a couple weeks ago I've gotten 6 new avatars which is really nice. I'm also on the list for a number of chain lends for the next few months for avatar pets I thought I'd never get. Due to the monthly transfer thing it's going to take like 5 months to get them all but it's nice to know they aren't hopeless.

I just bought 5 old and retired books from Mystery Island Trading Post for 400,000 NP. :-p The total value for them were like 1,600,000 NP. Perhaps I'll just invest them and wait until they are inflating like crazy.

Edit: Finally, I painted my Wocky, Darigan.

..and bought a Creepy Cave Background for him. Yeah, no accessories or trinkets, because I'm cool like that.
