The pteri is gotten through a random event. The site was going up and down for me earlier, but seems to be fine now.

They should change it to what I said, otherwise what good does having him in the BD do? We need to have some reward for sitting through server downtime.

And getting him as a random event really is stupid, you should get him when the site is down or when you click on a bad link or something.

I think the best one would be to visit an empty shop, where that SAME red pteri appears and says something like:
"Chocolate is good. Go to the Chocolate Factory now to get some
" or
"Hungry? Why not try PIZZAROO!??? "
Perhaps he could say: "Am I annoying you? Why not beat me up at the battledome:

The pteri probably is a RE, like many other bd opponents.
I haven't gotten the dreaded red pteri of downtime. But right now I can't even get the main page to load. Was playing a game, sending score hung, then got that server error. Tried to go to games, then shops, then log out and nothing. Page started loading then just stopped.
Went back, typed in just the neopets.com, and nothing would load. Just one of those days?
