Hmm, when I looked at the user that wrote it, her account was 3 days old... That was horrible, and I hope that she isn't past 1st grade. If she is, then she'll never pass a writing test in her life...

I am sorry,TNT,but I am dissapointed and mad. Tuskaninnies are even forgotten and ignored on their very own DAY. A simple color fill is just unfair. I am very sad. I now make it my duty to send a request to the editorial that they either revamp it or give it a new color!... That isnt a color fill. (Like grey or royal.)

Ugh, I'm never one to usually say something about someone else's works...but...wow...
The Pet Spotlight lacks A LOT! Blehhh...

I just read the spotlight. I have to say one thing: give her/him a break. Its not half as abd as you guys make it out to be. I agree it could have had more and a few improvements,but really.

Urgh, those new Tuskaninny colours are worse than the Pet Spotlight. I bet the reason they accepted that spotlight was because they knew it would take our attention off the Tuskaninny.

Yeah, be kind. There must be an explanation. Maybe they're foreign and their English isn't up to par. Or maybe they are very, very young. I feel so terrible for them.

And I think you guys are being too rough on the pet spotlite author...

Now that I think about it...maybe the Pet Spotlight winner was a child or nephew or neice of one of the staff...so they wanted to show off their work. If so, I would think it's cute how the staff put them on there...
Also I didn't think that maybe the submitter was learning English.
So there has to be some good reason then, right?

The pet spotlight sounds like it was written by someone whose first language isn't english, so really it's not so bad. But still, there must have been very few entries for that one to be selected.

Perhaps...but it is rather shocking that it was accepted, logical explanation or no. With all the (I'm guessing, here) Tuskaninny entries out there, I would think there would be something else they could have chosen.
It's also weird they'd accept something from a Three Day Old account, IMO. I would think someone who hasn't been on for at least a month or a little less wouldn't know much about Neopets yet.

The spotlight was CRAP and no mistake about it.

It's really painful because, to me, it shows how centered Neopets have become. The Spotlight had no drawing, and it had all the info you'd expect to find merely on a pet lookup. The drawings were mostly kid's stuff too, it seems - some painfully badly drawn.

It appears to go like this: 'Look, we've got two submissions for the Tuskaninny spotlight. There's a childish 6-year-old's scribble and an 18-year-old's well-drawn, very neat e-mail. No question, let's take the scribble!'

Sorry if anybody was offended by that.

Look - I'm going to send in a crap drawing for Kiko Day that took me about 40 seconds in MS Paint. If it gets in, the Neopoints will go to people saving up, the prize will go to somebody who badly wants it, all my pets will go up for adoption, and I'll quit.

I'll outright quit and I'll never go back.

Ya know, i didn't enter my Tuskaninny because I was labbing it and figured it would change...and that a PLAIN green Tusk had no chance to win.

I could've spun a funny little story in about a minute if I knew they were accepting any old pet.
