It may be a cabler's game, but it doesn't make it any easier at getting the rarer items from shops.

My success rate for grabbing rarer items is about 1 success out of every 30 attempts. Amd that's probably an underestimation.

The Health Food shop is best for restocking currently, if you memorize what to grab and have what most items cost on Ctrl+V.

I used to be able to make money there even with 56k, but, quite unfortunately, I can no longer get anything even there.

As for Mystique, I totally agree. Some people play neopets for the collectables like plushies or stamps... I'm just saying that in terms of creating things, weapons are either incredibly cheap and useless, or incredibly rare/expensive. Stamps and plushies at least have collectible value. Foods that alter stats are a welcome edition in my book, but how many foods are... well, just foods? And I'm not looking down my nose at anyone who collects food... actually I ran into a berry gallery that I thought was pretty cool... I'm just saying that there's a vast assortment of foods that serve the same purpose as the omellette... only the omellette does it 3 times better.

Maybe they should get rid of the Giant Omelette, then.

Yeah, they could get rid of the Giant Omelette and the Giant Jelly Thingy. Food prices wouldn't rise because there are so many types of food that inflaters wouldn't know what to go for.

Some item called "toenail soup" or something like that only costs 2NP. Your NeoPet makes a face when s/he eats it, but nothing negative happens.

Things like toenail soup I can fathom... it adds to the game's "flair." And your Neopet reacts to it. And I'm not complaining about the foods they have right now... just make more Cooking Pot recipes for some of the more blah-ish items...

Yes, indeedy. Saturday nights are usually so dull and boring--no one is ever on because of the "dating ritual"--yet tonight, there is a buzz about. And hard to sleep wondering if all of your items have disappeared without a trace--part of me wants to stay up to see if my SDB ever returns and part of me says go to bed you silly girl--it is only a game!

And the wierd thing for me is all this doesnt affect me... at all... The main reason I'm on is I wasnt a Mootix Drop trophy...

I really really really wish they'd make some other species weapons that do the same or similar to the Kacheek Life Potion. I can't afford a Jade SS so I'm stuck with my pet as a Kacheek until they bring out something similar I can afford. She turned Cybunny on the ray the other day and I would love to keep her that way, but she can't heal properly in fights unless she's Kacheek or I somehow acquire a Jade. It drives me nuts :/
