The whole harmonica thing and then I dunno.. it just didn't really sit well with me.

And that one guy that looks like he was a boxer is pretty darn good too. No idea what his name is but he was in that group with the twin and was one of the guy that went to bed. Not the asian guy but the other guy heh.

Aaand yeah.. good to see we'll never have to see the twins ever EVER again.

I only came on this thread to bring that up! HAHA ohhh gosh. That was creepy. But I bet he got a dare from his friends or something.... i dont think anyone would think they can win american idol with THAT....

LOL! I'd give anything to find that audition video on the web- or even a voice clip. That was the most hilarious thing of the entire episode that evening. And of course he was dared to, I don't think any man would do that if they weren't bribed a few $50s.

That's Elliot, he's pretty awesome. I don't know why the Asian guy (Sway) got through, though, I don't like his voice much.

Unless he does totally bad... I think he will make it. Heck he probably already has a fanbase.
People remember him b/c he looks different and I think unfortunatly.. that's going to get him further than he should go. Hope I'm wrong, but it's happened every other season and will most probably happen this one.

As for Sway.. I don't see how he made it either. He didn't sound all that great to me as well. He must've blown them away with something though if they kept him.. *shrugs*
And I can't believe they let that one loudmouth girl through.
The one that told Simon something about him not doing comedy.
Ugh... WHY was she let through!?
If she gets votes from people outside of her family... I'll be surprised.

When has Taylor Hicks ever acted as if he had a huge ego? I am a fan, yes, but this is asking from beyond that point. I've been watching since his audition, and I've never seen him act egotistical in any way.

It seemed that he was showing off "harmonica" skills when he entered or showing that he had some talent. I don't know, I just don't like him.

Will Makar is now my favorite male in the competition. And that Chewbacca impression was AWESOME.

Katherine McPhee remains my favorite female. So funny, how she kissed all three judges! It was hilarious! Her voice rivals Kelly Clarkson in my opinion.

My favorite is Taylor Hicks. I like his voice and when he sings he sounds so catchy, so blues. And personally, I liked the harmonica bit he did. At least he didn't kiss anybody. It was bad enough that that other girl did it. I don't think he'll make it to the top though because I'm afraid people will hold against him the fact he doesn't sound "hip" enough. But then again, this is the first time I've watched a season, so I don't know how these things can turn out. If he doesn't win but he somehow manages a record deal later on down the line, I'd buy his stuff. This guy has a unique talent.

I know this is a few weeks old, but with that Clay wannabe's audition, what the heck was up with them filming him in the bathroom?

Hmm...so I'd say my favorites are Paris and Kellie right now. Nobody really stands out that much to me though .

Tuesday: All 12 girls perform, 2 hours.

Wednesday: All 12 guys perform, 2 hours.

Thursday: Ooh...a Thursday show. Half-hour results show. According to Fox, only 4 people are going- two girls and two boys. Since there will still be 20, I'm guessing that they're just going to continue doing this for two more weeks until they get the top 12.

I knew that Terrell and Derrell were getting kicked off because of their criminal record and all, but I was SO glad to see them like...confirm it on the show. Their voices aren't bad, but God, I hated their egos.

Yea, I really didn't like the twins.

Personally, I like Ace and Will. They have fantastic voices and their personalities aren't OTT, and they seem just, well, nice!

Female wise, I liked Brenda and Becky.

I only think it's a pity we can't see the shows live over here in the UK, or even vote, because I would stay up until 4am to watch this!
