Anyone here listen to Beck or used to listen to Beck? I doubt anyone has but i saw topics about tons of other bands so i decided to add Beck to the list

I prefer Beck's old music. Mellow Gold is my favorite album, Odelay is good too, but beyond that I haven't bothered listening to their music. Beck songs are so.... random. The lyrics are just so... out there. It's hard to explain unless you've heard them.

Heh, I just bought Odelay last week. Although I haven't listened to him much, I definitely prefer the older work. I also have Sea Change, but that isn't nearly as good as Odelay.

Sea change is a lot more emotional and calm. It's really good once you get into it.

If you like Odelay you should get Mellow Gold too. Mutations is a really nice acoustic album and Midnite Vultures is techno/r&b/funk weirdness.

Whats the best Beck song. Cause i don't know him but i've heard that he's really good so i got the beck song "Loser" so i was just wondering if there are any other songs i should listen from him. Please just pick one. Not a whole list.

my favorite beck song is "lazy flies." mutations is my favorite beck album.

i think odelay is the best album to start with if you're just getting into beck. stereopathetic soul manure and the two rarities, a western harvest field by moonlight and golden feelings, can really only be appreciated by hardcore fans. i love me some beck, but i can't listen to those two albums.
