I'm so excited about that series. It's making my heart giddy.
I finally got around to watching some "new to me" episodes of Paranoia Agent. Suicide pacts with twelve year olds, old men, and giddy 20-30 somethings are the best! Chasing around the mysterious "Bat Boy"/"Lil' Slugger" and asking him to whack you is even better!

Tideline Blue 2. I have a soft spot for mysterious plots, in which you aren't immediately told everything. This is interesting...and I like how they handled a certain scene in this ep so that it was funny and not at all fanservice-y. Isla rocks - she has a sort of purity that's a great deal more genuine than all the 'moe'-ness of bishoujo shows. Keal's shirt is still horrendous.

Utena 21-23. Finished the Black Rose arc. Talk about things that make you go 'huh?!" Guess I need to sit and discuss it with my viewing partner to see what kind of sense we can make out of it. Again. I love Utena, but sometimes it makes me feel like my head shall explode. I suppose that's the sign of a great anime. ^_-
