Similies ???

Can i know why the smilies link on the main ppt page is spelled as 'Neoboard Similies'

It even says similies on the page that it's linked to..

it just caught my attention and i was wondering since similies are actually a term used in english..

A simile is a phrase used in writing that compares two things using words like or as

Is there a specail reason that it's called similies in the first place..maybe a clever pun on smiley c.
