Why are some people getting red X's in the shops, but I'm not? o_O

Yeah, it seems like they shut down the whole site while they fix this. I tried playing a game and it didn't let me send the score...

I agree--why not just take the whole site down and tell us approximately how long it will be down--then we could go do other stuff while they fix the site.

My shop is back up now...

Edit: No, no it's not... my shop originally was completely down. I couldn't go to see the stock or anything. Now I can see the stock but it won't let me go to the till...

Edit - Edit: Actually it is... lol... Occasionally, it says that I don't own a shop but I was able to withdraw my neopoints so...

On another site I go to (Ragnarok Online), they have regularly scheduled maintenance every Tuesday night from 9pm-11pm PST. Then they do most of their updates. It's nice because you know when things are going to be done and you can count on it happening the same time every week and when it comes back up, there will be new things.

I wish Neopets would have a scheduled weekly maintenance like that. I know I would appreciate it.

Good grief, how many database moves/changes can there be? Seems lately every time we turn around everything's going missing and getting that message. This has been happening for how long now? And neomail still has that moving to a different database too.

Wow, it must really be even more difficult than I thought to move things around. I do not envy the people working on all this!

That would be awesome. But you know if they planned this, they would never stick to it. Remember the thing about 'The news will be up at midnight NST every night!' Well, that sure happened.

my sis almost lost a illusion's quest 'cause of the chops disappering. luckly, she found a shop that was still there, and bought the item.

mine seems to be here...for now.

Mine was gone for awhile, I think they were switching servers. I couldnt use my SDB or the shop wizard either

Its all back now.
