does the time u click the button affect the results? like many people think that at 12am of every month the shrine gives out 1mil...

I have a friend who claims that he won 1 million NP from the shrine at the stroke of midnight, but that's just a rumour. Has the likelyhood to be true, though.
My sister also claims that the WoE goes by time; whenever she wins something nice from the Tombola, she wins something nice from the Fruit Machine, and then something nice from the WoE.

The time DOES have relevance. I know that for a while I went to the shrine daily at the same time everyday and I always got speed stat boost. 0.o And also, like Yoshi mentioned, when I get something from one place, I get stuff from a lot of the others as well. Time is definately relevant. Not sure about the 1 million NP though.

no idea about the time for the 1 mill thing, but it is true, tnt confirmed it, i just wish i was that lucky...
and tombola does seem also to be affected by timing, though how i don't know, but i get better prizes at certain times then others, also for the snowager, i wait 20 minutes then go in, and last time i got a plushie island paint brush

The Shrines system runs on the base of luck and your pets level, remember all the bonuses you would get when the pet was weaker?

I've always understood the shrine's results to be set within a predetermined set of rules, but random with respect to time. I know that the million USED to be given away at the stroke of midnight, but as I understand it, that's not the case anymore.

the lvl of your pet affects the shrine? hmmm...
but the thing is, the seconds ticking on your clock may not be the same as the one neopets uses and the seconds may not be that accurate..

If you go to the World page, there is the NST in green, with the seconds. They don't tick by themselves, but if you keep refreshing and time yourself or if you calculate and count right, you'll get the time you want.

ok, jus one question.. how does the second go? like the moment u hit the refresh button or when it loads.. hmm.. how do u say this.. like hit the refresh button at 55secs it'll show 55secs or maybe afew secs later like 57??
oh.. and what's the webbie with info on how many secs u should hit the button to get a certain prize?

my 56k modem that never hits that levle is too slow to check that kind of thing, but the webpage with the times is http://www.pinkpt.com/index.php?page=coltzanshrine as posted above. and while i am aware that level does affect stuff, the rest of it is quite relevant.

Hahaha. Same here.
Also, the shrine giving out stuff at diff times is WAY outdated. That lasted for probably like 1 or 2 months after it first came out, which was ages ago.
