Lenny Conundrum #78

Number Six was recently addicted to the game Meepit Juice Break. So much so, that he actually forgot to do Lenny Conundrums for a few months. When gently reminded that Lenny Conundrum needed to be worked on, he started to think of a new conundrum based on Meepit Juice Break.

At the time he started thinking about it, Number Six had 2087 points at the beginning of level 5 of Meepit Juice Break.

Assuming that in this particular game, there are always exactly 6 of each type of fruit on the board, what is the maximum possible total score Number Six could have at the end of level 5?

I have no idea lol

Well wouldn't it have to be...

2087 + (6 x number of point for using each fruit) + (number of available meepits x number of points for feeding each of them) ???

I just don't know what the "points are"!

Fruits i encounter are rahketmelons and the apple cores and this one that is worth 10 or 25 points. i am not sure if there are others in farther levels.

If there are 6 of each type, there would have to be 6 rotten ones too - they're -10

You get 2pts for getting the same pipe color to the same meepit color. If you use all pipes you get a bonus of 50pts. so Make 56*2, and that 112. +50pts = 162pts. Since you need to feed 7 meepits to get to level 6, do 162*7=1134
Now off to the fruit bonus. Just ignore the rotten apples and red fruits because those give opposite bonus. So do 150*7=1050
1134+1050+2087=

We are talking about maximums, so this we may try (i have no flash games here so i can figure out much).

The pipes are worth 4 points each if you can fill up a meepit with a correct color of juice. There are a total of _X_ pipes in the board. There is a 50 point bonus for each round of completed pipes, assuming they are all cleared. You have to feed _Y_ of meepits at round six.

So 2087 + Y ([4pts(X)] + [points provided by the fruits] + 50pts) = max score at the end of round 6.

Does this make any sense? LOL.

Short of playing the actual game I think this problem is out of my depth - the calculations I can work with but finding out the points and such, ek! Good luck everyone I think I'll wait until next week to try my luck with the LC

I am not so sure if points for the pipes for correctly channeling the right juices is 2 or 4. I doubt the calculation from the neoboard.

Also, what if it is required that 6 of each negative bonus fruits are in the board?

I am confused.

The only thing I can say about the negative fruits (and its a guess on my part) is, you can either choose to utilise them for the +50 total pipe bonus or, you can avoid them...

I just worked it all out and I think it's right. Hope it is. Hope I get in the first 250 lol I've been trying for months and never done it. I'm always too late, or totally wrong.

I suppose you just have to do it like that sometimes. If you put an answer someone else has told you without working it out you have the bonus of time, if you work it out yourself you may have the bonus of a correct answer but you lose time. Its just a matter of luck, I think, as to whether you get in before the end of the 250 or not. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys though

clue, do one meepit at a time, and then do 3 at a time for the last one....

7 meepits totatl to be fed....

feed em all the right color of juice...

clear stage 7 times for +50.... does not cancel out - 60 from rotten fruit...

so don't clear the stage....

My answer is 4 digits.... sum of digits is 11.... submitting God help me now

Edit: that was close... just before i sent i checked my numbers again...

Neoboard guess of 3364 and 3371 are wrong...

The one above me who said something about canceling out the -10 +10 fruits got it wrong....
