Proof: "Now you can get revenge on that pesky 'Neopets is down for maintenance Pteri' in the Battledome. (Although hopefully you won't be seeing much of him anymore!) "
Gee, I remember several PPTers mentioning this not so long ago. They ought to at least give PPTers some credit for "their" great ideas, don't you agree.

Hey, if we complain about the TNT taking our suggestions, they'll never take them again. Be thankful.

If I recall, it was also an editorial request so I wouldn't put all the credit towards PPT for that

This isn't the first time though --if you recall the thread with the avatars... a couple have shown up like Whack-a-Kass and the WoM avatar.
I agree that this is a good place for inspiration, but I feel that since they like to be inspired by us should be enough of an honor.

One question though. How do you get him? Wait for the site to be down?

Some credit to the person who thought of this would be nice. But as for me, If the staff uses one of my ideas I don't care. I kind of hope they would.

I think Drama Queen has the right idea here. Amen.

And, let's not forget that Adam himself read someone's suggestion here about keeping autobuyers at bay by putting the codes in for restocking--and even commented on how much he liked the idea--and then a few days later Kauvara's Magic Code appeared.
But, I guess you are right, Rune. I guess we should be happy that they think enough of this site to scope it out for ideas.

I'm flattered that they tried out that picture thing (which may have been based on something that I suggested). I just wish it had worked out better, or else I'd be putting it in my neopets profile and demanding a salary.
Alas, and alack, no dice. But yeah, it's good that they look to PPT as this pseudo focus group for ideas and the like.

Neopets's Glittering Scorchstone (below)
IDB's Forums Pink Scorchstone(below)
Neopets's design for the Glittering Scorchstone actually came about from IDB's Forums Pink Scorchstone and IDB have been using the Pink Scorchstone long before Neopets came up with the Glittering Scorchstone so you could say Neopets copied IDB' Pink Scorchstone from their Glittering Scorchstone only making their Glittering Scorchstone bigger than IDB Pink Scorchstone.

It could also just be an amazing coincidence.

Or a compliment. As the old saying goes: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

The "thanks" we get for being a regular unpaid TNT think-tank is to have our forum name blocked from mention on their site.

Let's sue 'em to pay for ad-free webhosting.
Although I must say, no popups on the Forums? It's a beautiful thing!

I guess i've heard that saying before...
But it seems to me that purposely overpaying for something might be more flattering *shrug*

There is an amazing program that can do that for you! It's called
Firefox Internet Explorer.
As for TNT stealing ideas... Well, nothing on their site seems to be an original idea IMO, especially there games!
Quote a good friend of mine:
SNOWMUNCHER - MR. DRILLER (C) NINTENDO.
CHUTE (NO LONGER ONLINE) - TETRIS (C) NINTENDO.
WEB OF VERNAX - JEZZBALL (C) NINTENDO.
MEEPIT JUICE BREAK - ANT RUN (C) EVERSOFT (I think).
Also, I believe a few of their pets were taken from other peoples ideas, yes?
They've been doing it since they started, and will continue to do it onto infinity.

They aren't "Stealing our ideas". People send in things they want to see on the site, and if the people at Neopets things it's a good idea, they will add it on. This is the case for the Red Pteri challenger.
As for the games, while it is true that they are rip-offs of other games, who really cares? They are fun and I like how they can put their Neopet's twist to it.
