I'm trying to get that Booktastic Book thing and I am down to the last 2 books. The 90K one and this one silly book that everytime I try to read it to my pet he says "That is such a boring book"! HELP! It doesn't have the same number of letters in the name that my pet does, why don't he want to read it? How do I make him read it? Do you think if I raise his intelligence, that he will read the thing? I hate to spend the 90K if he won't read that one last cheap book!

What booktastic book thing? Do you get a prize for reading all of those books? Apparently I'm out of the loop...

Also, to anyone who's doing that, I'd like to point out that the "Kreludan Games" book, which is currently unbuyable, is only a rarity 70 book, which means in a few days when people have had time to get new one from the book store, they will very likely drop drastically in price, and until neopets releases more booktastic books everyone will have the same number of books anyway. Just my advice

I think it may just be (n+1)*x, where x is an integer. If the number of letters in a book or petpet is equal to n, or equal to (n+1)*x, then your pet can't read the book.

I could very well be wrong.

I've been RSing 'Kreludan Games' all day (ending with a grand total of 600k+), and each time I RSed one I sold for 90k... bah. =(

Johnny, it's a new award for reading the books that come from the 'Booktastic Books' store, that's very easy to get in (since it only requires 27 books).

To clarify, you don't get the award simply for having read (or reading) those 27 books. It's a new contest just like the neopian book award one, except only for the kruledor books. There are only 27 out currently, and there are tons of people who've read 27. Not even everyone who's on the high score table has an award. There will start to be real competition when books of higher rarities are released.

I tink someone posted the formula yesterday but you can get aroun it by reading it to your pet in another language.

Tonu hit it on the head. Just change your language preference on the side bar, which most likely will cause the number of letters in the book's title to change.

Wow that is really interesting I wonder if you change the lanugage if it would eat certain foods too???

Mystique, I heard that about equipping petpets, the using a different language if your pet name and the petpet name were the same # of letterrs...I guess it would make sense to have books and possibly foods?) the same. But freezable? Seems a little harsh, no?

that's what i heard from the neoboards. there's no verification since i did not get a first hand account but i suppose it's not impossible that TNT view this as an exploit.

Let's take the number of letters in a pet's name and then add 1. From now on, we'll call this value p. So, whenever I say p, I meant he number of letters in a pet's name and add 1.

Let's take any whole number, and as long as its positivve, let's call it n. So, whenever we say n, we mean any positive whole number.

So, when pn = the number of letters in the book, your pet won't be abile to read it.

However, I'm pretty sure thats wrong
