Someone remind me what the key is that sends all your guys back to their original position. I KNOW this existed last year.

Shift. Took me pressing every button while holding the Yooyu in a corner to get it right :P

Edit: While asking for reminders, who made the small sig banngers last year and do they still exist somewhere? I have to represent LD somehow.

The link in my banner takes you to Pixa's (?) petpage, where you can find the other teams' banners. :)

Me too! :)

Hmm? You keep saying that Shenkuu will lose as it's a new-comer, and that's why you didn't chose it as your team. I still don't really understand why you seem so sure of this? :)
I must say I still know almost nothing about the Altador Cup (didn't participate last year), so are the teams very different in skill or something? And if I understood correctly, the number of supporters for each team doesn't matter either.

I'm with you guys! :) I'm new to the cup too, and don't really know how to pick a team. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!! :)

I can do well with most balls but i'm terrible at using the faerie ball does anyone have tips for it?

And I couldn't decide on a team so I randomly picked one and got Lost desert :P

I get pretty much lucky on the Faerie Yooyu ball. Usually I try not to shoot at an angle, you can get a goal by just shooting at the goalie essentially in a straight line, the only problem with this is the defenders are always crowded around the sweet spot at shooting it. Once you hit the sweet spot the faerie ball will curve around the goalie and get a goal.

Another trick, which is a bit more risky and lucky, is to shoot the ball off the boundary. Since its the faerie ball, it will gravitate toward the middle, if you shoot it off the wall, it will bounce extremely fast back towards the middle and go even faster off the next wall. If you play Knock hockey, this trick will do well for you. Just hit it at an angle off the wall and hope it goes in the opposite corner of the goal.

That was a hard decision!
I went with Krawk Island.. Don't really know why. I was tempted to do Haunted Woods again though.

Anyways! Off to try playing! :D

I suck so badly at this game lol. Bring on the supporter games I say :)

As an aside, I feel like I'm the only Maraquan supporter here??? :(

Because i see i'm not the only one curious as to who everyone is playing for and I feel all lonely in the lost desert *sniff*

Also i think i'm going to aim for playing the other support games because I i really cant play the main game very well.... like scoring... not happening

Lost desert FTW!
I'm hoping I'm good at the support games too...the Yooyuball game? Not my finest.

I'm a Rooligan.

Shocking, I know.

I think Roo island has the best chance this year...but Lost Desert is still better :P

Thanks in advance
PS: I chose Darigan

Unfortunately the prize shop closed down. http://www.neopets.com/altador/colosseum/prizes.phtml

It leads to a 404 now. =/ I hope you already spent your points and just didn't remember.

Lol, apparenly, some people don't quite get the concept of "quality vs quantity". Since I'm a Rooligan a KIer was giving me flack. They pointed out, "Well, let's say we have 50 members. If half our team plays that's 25. Let's say you have 10. If half of you play, that's 5. 25 vs. 5. We'd win."

I bit back the gales of humiliating laughter and politely reminded them that, as they'd confirmed a mere page before, the scores are proportioned so team size doesn't matter. If both teams had half their members playing, they'd tie.

lol Fiddleysquat the boards are full of overconfident fans like that, but I think they will all get what they deserve ;)

The really popular teams seem to be darigan, krawk Island, shenkuu and haunted woods.

to be honest, I don't think any of these teams will do particularly well.
