Do you mean the pics you get of the striker and goalie after you score a goal? I can grab Roo Island's for you if you like, if no-one else has nine hours from now (when I can next play Yooyuball again) :(

Well, it's officially Day 2, and my shield hasn't changed.

Would perfer HW more (seeing as I am a WH Devotee) But I suppose any will do. Thinkin' of trying my hand at making a bit of a Wallpaper for fans to use.

Shouldn't be all that hard, four seperate players, four seperate images.

8) : I scored one pint and managed to keep the other team from scoring.

So I sent a 1-0 in and I'm pleased.

Well, Shenkuu didn't do TOO badly... What is D? I understand W for win, L for loss...
D? I'm assuming some word for tie?

Altador, Tyrannia, Faerieland, Brightvale AND Virtupets all lost across the board... so one win and one tie doesn't disappoint me too badly...

How frustrating! :x However, I have some idea of what might be happening. When the ball releases and just rolls slowly away as you're describing, that's exactly what happens when you unselect the player that has possession. Maybe this is what's going on:

1. Player A has possession.
2. When trying to get your mouse into the goal so you can aim, you're skimming your mouse over a different player on your team, selecting that player. Or maybe you're pressing something on your keyboard (Spacebar, Tab, A, D), that either deselects your player or switches to a different one.
3. As soon as another player is selected, Player A stops dead and holds onto the ball for a second or two, then just lets go of it.

When you shoot for the goal, make sure there is still a white circle around your striker.

Hope this helps. :)

psyco - D stands for draw - it's used in British football, and possibly elsewhere as well.

And, I find the best method to score with the Darigan Yooyu is to run into the point of the star that makes up the goal area diagonally from either direction, and let go when you are right in the middle. That generally gets it to sneak in past the post at the corner.

Any Krawk Islanders feel free to avert your eyes to the previous paragraph! :)

I think it's "Draw" :)

EDIT: Spoonguard beat me to it. This forum is moving too fast! :D

*headdesk*

Draw... the one synonym I didn't think of. Makes sense (maybe that's why I didn't think of it!)

What? I'm allergic to data! :)

Just won one 9-0 - haven't managed to do that yet today - although this is only attempt four, and all others had at least 7 goals, so I'm happy.

EDIT: Make Some Noise! mvmvmvmv... oops, wrong window.

Whee, PPT is back! The scores for yesterday, though, are missing. I bet TNT does it on purpose because it was RI vs KI :(

Hey, can I have a cookie?
I'm a Shenkuu Noise maker/Slushie Slinger
But I suck at Yooyuball.
If you get the mechanical Yooyu, it explodes after a while. Once it blasted my dude out of the field! O_O

I play for Shenkuu and am also more of a Noisemaker and Slushie Slinger than Yooyu ball player. I've won a small handfull of games, but I just don't enjoy it enough to keep trying. I made level one, thats good enough for me. Shenkuu for the win!

I'm betting that TNT took the day off - its a Sunday AND an American holiday. However, I'm shocked to find out that all the scores are hand input into the system. I woulda thought something like a winner/draw/loser chart would have been automated. I find it verry curious. Not making any wild claims, but with the human element added in... makes me wonder if we're always getting the true winners posted. :D I love a good conspiracy.

I still can't score consistantly with the Darigan Yooyu, but I have won 380 with 5 goals or more and I am now at Rank level 6, so I am happy. :)

I see TNT changed the Mutant Yooyu, it now takes on the movement of the other yooyus, which means it can be slow, fast, curving or shoot of a different angles. I thought I had a glitch when it first changed.

I THOUGHT something was different about the yooyu ball. It was suddenly going strange ways when I shot from certain angles, angles which I was sure I used to be able to score easily with. o_O

Rank four, lord only knows how many more games to go (DOUBLE round robin. WHYYYYY)
Ehh, got a bit sick of yooyu ball over the weekend (100 something games over two days) so I've not played today and probably wont tommorow.

Rank 3 ....

and I'm still of the belief that the game is both monotonous and repetitive.... :x

Re: Altador Cup Split 3

how many games have you won / goals have you scored to get above rank one? cause i totally thought that i was playing a lot, but i'm still at the beginner rank. or do you think it involves playing more than just yooyu ball? because i'm not too great at the other games.. =]
