just my luck I get hit with the GAG on the last day of the AC! Phooey...

fortunately the stuff isn't expensive & I already got the theme from last year. And the animation was rather apt, given my situation.

Same here. Though I wouldn't change the site theme anyway, I love the Spooky one too much. Still, my inner collector is disappointed.

For those who don't know, you can obtain the winter site theme by filling a certain requirement and visiting the advent calendar. You only get one shot. This is what I did last year before visiting the advent calendar and I got the sidebar:

-I did collect everyday and made sure I had at least 1 of each Advent item in my SDB
-Had exactly 500np on hand
-Equipped a Christmas Petpet
-Had a snowball and snowflake in my inventory
-I had Attack Pea Avatar equipped
-I put some older advent items in my shop, neohome, inventory, and gallery
-have the default sidebar on
-watched all the animations in full
-equipped snowball and snowflake
-I sold an advent item
-I donated an advent item
(after that I made sure to buy them back to have a complete set)
-I visited the money tree
-I played winter/snow games
-my main pet was cheerful the others were also happy
-I sent a winter greeting
-I had a winter shop keeper
-i visited the snowager

I got the site theme this year. All I did differently was visit the advent calendar all 31 days. There was no method to how I visited it. I just did.

Woot! After several years, I finally got the theme myself.

The only thing I made a point to do was visit the Advent Calendar each day. Since I know not everyone who visits every day gets the theme, I'm guessing that some other requirement *related* to Advent Calendar actions (not necessarily just get prizes) must be at play here.

No theme for me this year, either. Oh well, I have 365 more days to think this time, instead of the usual 364..

I never got apples!!! and I had the sidebar from last year so, yea I'm happy!
